Loring Heights is a residential neighborhood of around 330 single-family homes, nestled in between Midtown and Buckhead near the Brookwood split. Tree-lined streets, rolling hills, a park with a duck pond and a greenspace with a dog park make this neighborhood a true oasis in the city. The neighborhood's ideal central location provides quick access to I-75/85 and Peachtree, the main arteries of Intown Atlanta. Loring Heights residents also enjoy pedestrian access to shopping, dining and entertainment on Peachtree or in Atlantic Station. The friendly neighborhood hosts regular social events, including the popular "First Friday Fiesta", a party held at a different neighbor's home the first week of every month in the summer, as well as other events throughout the year.

Comment from Loring Heights resident:
We've lived here for 10 years now, and absolutely love it. First, you can't beat the location, just a few blocks west of Peachtree between Midtown and Buckhead. Easy to get to anywhere in the city. The setting is beautiful with a mature tree canopy and two parks - you'd never know you were right in the middle of the city (except for the skyline views)! The homes are a mix of cute, original 1940s bungalows, to larger, renovated homes (many of which have expanded back or upwards with a second story addition), plus some new construction homes, including a few contemporaries. Loring Heights Park (aka "the pond park") has been recently renovated with a huge deck overlooking the pond and a new playground for the neighborhood's continually-growing number of kids. The Tanyard Creek Greenspace has a large open play field and two off-leash dog areas. The size of the neighborhood is perfect, large enough to support lots of activities, but not so large that you lose that neighborhood feel. We also enjoy walking to restaurants like Tuk Tuk on Peachtree and Chick-a-Biddy and others in Atlantic Station, as well as Loring Heights' own new restaurant, Endive Publik House.
